2009 UUSJ Social Awards Gala Activities
The Second Annual Social Justice Awards Benefit Gala was held October 25, 2009, at Positano’s Ristorante in Bethesda, MD. The Gala benefits the UUSJ Collaborative Fund and is UUSJ’s way of meeting its goal of increasing the frequency, impact and visibility of UU collaborative efforts in the region. The UUSJ Collaborative Fund is a grant program promoting cooperation to enhance the impact of social justice endeavors among congregations, organizations and individuals.
