It's a growing trend: investors are increasingly seeking out investments that reflect their personal values. Offering shelter to those in need is one of the ways that people of faith have historically reached out to others. Participating in and fostering a supportive community is a core value held by faithful people everywhere. OpenDoor offers a way to strengthen communities and impact individuals in need while enabling investors to be good stewards of their resources. OpenDoor maintains a UU Interfaith Fund with a special advisory committee to insure that the organization maintains its ties and is responsive to faith-based concerns.
